Pain can cause suffering
To a person who's caring
By making them wait
And be a dead weight
Hoping to turn back the time
To put it back in rhyme
But it was too late
What's done, I can't negate
Now move forward
For there will be a reward
Remember what was learned
It's in me, etched and burned
I will never forget
The pain caused by regret
But there's always a tomorrow
That wipes away all the sorrow.
